To be honest, I really was dragging my feet to go to this exhibit, I thought I already saw what needed to be seen from everybody’s Instagram pictures. My cousins and friends wanted to go so we decided to make a little girls day out of it. I’m so glad I went, and experienced it for myself. The exhibit was curated by fashion historian Olivier Saillard, the space is divided into TEN different chapters and follows the chronological order of French house’s 163-year journey to becoming one of the most recognized labels in the world. Titled “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” which means fly, sail, travel in French.
PINTRILL and Louis Vuitton came together to collaborate on a special edition pin set for the luxury brands exhibition. On the way out, you are given one of the three limited pins: a Yellow Truck in LV’s signature Imperial Saffron hue, the iconic Louis Vuitton graffiti tag by Stephen Sprouse, and an airplane inspired by the exhibition poster.
